Practice? Practice!

by Kevin McCormack

We couldn’t let this week’s earlier announcement that Allen Iverson is likely headed to Turkey pass without celebrating A.I.’s legacy to the NBA. And by legacy, I mean playing the re-mix version of his awesome “we’re talking about practice” press conference. Bravo sir. Bravo.

Great….another reason to post up an 8 year old rant…..let it go already. It’s really corny.

It’s a shame that the “practice” thing is so infamous. It was Iverson cracking a joke in the middle of that press conference to get the room laughing (which they were). Now people watch it and think it was a serious rant during that moment.

Looks like someone is trying to earn BROWNIE POINTS with the Commissioner.

    Very Disrespectful!
Mocking a guy when he is down.

“Internet Gangster” tough with a keyboard
“Internet Clown” hahahaha you made everybody laugh.

“even an ant will kick you when your down”

your talking about practice? when I averaged 31 ppg for the series?
your talking about practice? when I go out there and play every game like it’s my last!
you asking about practice? when I am injured, but play when the lights come on game days!
your asking about practice? when I a fractured thumb in the playoffs, sprained ankles, swollen bersesac in my knee and elbow, shoulder contusions, bruised tailbone in the playoffs against the Raptors and Bucks, Flu like symptoms and dropping 50 on the Hawks.
your talking about practice? when a player who’s 6′ foot frame is banging against players who are 150-200+ pounds heavier and stronger every night?
your talking about practice? when the lightest all star of all time was never afraid to mix it up with anyone regardless of size, name, talent and strength.

“practice?” get over it already! thanks to people like you Iverson will not be in the NBA. Negative press.

What have you done? scholarships…that’s not news…helping people with nothing?…thats not good news about allen Iverson.
