Shaq, you’re my hero

by Micah Hart

As we all know, the Boston Celtics are a little banged up right now. With Kevin Garnett sidelined for the next couple weeks with a lower leg injury, it’s as important as ever to keep the other Celtics intact. This sounds like a job for … The Big Chauffeur!

I will literally cry when Shaq retires.

Shaq plays like he is from the caribbean; stronger than ordinarily. I love and his character that’s what the game is going to miss!

Me, too! I will miss the gentle giant with the great smile, big sense of humor and a bigger heart. He’s one of a kind! He’d get my vote anytime. He’s the real deal.

I have been a Shaq fan since his days with Orlando, LA, Cleveland and now Boston. He has always been a good person for youngsters to emulate, a person other Basketball Players to appreciate especially his honor in his treatment of others, his fantastic playing ability, his ability to help others to raise their playing to a higher level and now his abiity to not mind being a great backup player. I plan to watch whatever team he plays for and hope that he will keep on with his ideal of being a complete professional Basketball Player. DME

I have witnessed some of the games most dominant big men in action (i..e Elvin Hayes, Willis Reed, Lew Alcindor, Dave Cowens, Wilt Chamberlin, etc…). I must say that my boy the Diesel ranks up there with all of the above. He is a true ambassador and the game will surely miss his swagger as well as his professionalism .
