The whispers are out there — this Celtics team is too old to handle the Heat, and Boston’s Big Three of Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, and Ray Allen might want to start thinking about post-career plans.
Well, Boston may indeed lose this series, but KG will have you know he’s not ready to be put out to pasture just yet, a point he decided to make during Game 3 after a hard foul by the Heat’s Udonis Haslem:
And if you don’t know, now you know.

K.G determination; Celtic pride right there
They were only half push ups aha. Do it right KG
dat aint a threat 4 da heat…doin push up during da game makes u more desperate k.g….GO HEAT!!!
lol, KG, great game boston.
I don’t understand. Is this satirical or are we supposed to be impressed that a 36-year old professional athlete can do ten pushups?
Kevin Garnett is one of the greatest basketball player of all time. Even if his team down by 20 points, KG will still want to be in the game and try to win. IF many people understand the heart of Kevin Garnett, they will know how he is.
KG is da maaaan!
Lol. Gotta love KG.
KG still has it, though I’m pretty sure he got real tired after this.. Hahaha
so i hope boston knows what to do on wade and lbchoke if that is not a flagrant foul
nice one Garnett.
D that cooled the Heat and rocked the court.haha
garnett is such a joke. look how he cant even do pushups correctly because he is too weak. weak by nature thats why he resorts to being the cheapest, dirtiest player in the nba
that KG from past,present til future…go boston…
who’s old?
I think he did it as the anger control technique rather then to show he’s OK. Udonis’ plan was to piss him off and made KG loose control (e.x. a serious punch – which Udonis actually deserved with such play). But KG had a different plan – he wanted to win that game and whole series.
Great intensity…now let them play real basketball refs without the b.s. Thanks!
Lets do it!
1) It wasn’t a hard foul – that was a block.
2) He did 8 push-ups. My 10-year old niece can do more than that.
And now you know.
I pooped my pants…
NICE PUSHUP!
NICE PUSHUPS !
Kevin Garnett and I are five years apart in age. I’m from Minnesota and I’ve watched him play more games than I have for any other player. One thing defines Garnett: He’s never finished: Not on a play, not in a quarter, not in a game, not in a season, not in a career. If a team will sign him, I can see him dressing and sitting the bench at age 45. He’ll sit there until the one game he’s called on to play and he’ll be just fine going out there for 4o minutes if need be. That’s just how he is. He’s never finished.
WORST PUSH-UP EVER!
KG did push ups and I knew the Celtics would win this game.
Gay. It was a clean block
HAHA, nice, I’ma try it like he said to that reporter.
The only way that Kevin Garnett can convince me that he should not be sent out to pasture is to, BEAT THE HEAT!
are you convinced now? hehehe…
kg is the man!!!
go go KG!!! Beat the Heat!!!
….. I can’t believe some of you Heat fans are actually criticizing his technique on his push ups. Ridiculous.
It was all about just showing his intensity, nothing more.
Now it’s a series.
KG is a unique player, a real joy to watch. Old school, straight up.
GO!!! Celtics
Try doing a push-up after getting slammed on the floor like that, & let see how many of u hatters can do.
kg see his grandpa !!!
KG is just so funny! Do those push-ups!! Go CELTICS!!!!!! I’m sure James couldn’t do pushups after being fouled hard… he just cries to the refs.
haha…look at these KG haters, No team in the NBA has the heart and pride like the Boston Celtics.
What a bad call, Should have been called a jump ball.
KG is in a contract year !
Ain’t that somethin all these Celtics haters and Lebron riders The Heat wasnt nothing without him and now they got a squad yall wanna jump on the bandwagon, so sad but expected
KG plays at an intensity matched by none
If I played like him that night I’d be throwing down sets too.
