For the first time ever, the NBA released today the overall numbers for top selling jerseys internationally.
At the top of the list? Lakers star Kobe Bryant, who topped not only the overall international charts but had the highest seller in China, Europe, and Latin America as well. It’s Kobe’s world, we’re all just living in it.
Here’s a look at the top 15, based on sales at adidas locations outside the United States:
1. Kobe Bryant, Los Angeles Lakers
2. Derrick Rose, Chicago Bulls
3. LeBron James, Miami Heat
4. Kevin Garnett, Boston Celtics
5. Dwight Howard, Orlando Magic
6. Dwyane Wade, Miami Heat
7. Rajon Rondo, Boston Celtics
8. Carmelo Anthony, New York Knicks
9. Blake Griffin, Los Angeles Clippers
10. Kevin Durant, Oklahoma City Thunder
11. Pau Gasol, Los Angeles Lakers
12. Dirk Nowitzki, Dallas Mavericks
13. Amar’e Stoudemire, New York Knicks
14. Tony Parker, San Antonio Spurs
15. Ricky Rubio, Minnesota Timberwolves
Four international players on the international best-seller list (Where is Ginobili? Argentina, you need to get on that pronto.), including Rubio in his rookie season, which is pretty impressive. You can see the NBA’s biggest markets well represented, with two Lakers (and a Clipper), two Celtics, two Heat, and two Knicks on the list. LeBron is only at #3. It will be interesting to see if that changes at all if Miami takes its first title tonight or in the next few days, if that will change people’s perception of him.
Anyone surprise you with their ranking?

i’m pretty surprised Jeremy Lin’s not on this list.
No Chris Paul?
No Scalabrine? What is wrong with everybody?
Kobe running it LIKE A BOSS.
“You can see the NBA’s biggest markets well represented, with two Lakers (and a Clipper), two Celtics, two Heat, and two Knicks on the list. ”

This is a common misconception but Miami is not a big market..it’s just the 16th market in the nation (so it’s middle-sized) and it’s only slightly bigger than Cleveland (#17):..
Rondo? Really that guys a bum
best pg in the league get it right
Damn right…
What surprises me the most is that there aren’t any international players in the top 10. They’re all homegrown American players. Interesting.
I’ve got 4 Tim Duncan jerseys but I guess it wasn’t enough to put him on the list.
i bought Jeremy Lin jersey though….. t’was selling like pancakes.
A little surprised not to see Lin in the top 10. I know he’s relatively new, becoming huge only this year, but I thought we’d see him in the top 10 due to sales in China alone.
kobe is the greatest thing to touch a basketball
Waaaaat Kobe? I guess most of the world don’t know that his a rapiest n old rotten man who will never win another championship.
Gaaaah!
I live in Sweden and the hottest Jersey out here is Jordan and Lebron James
no Rudy Gay jersey?
That’s why he is the MJ of this era.. The greatest basketball player in the whole world today with Slum DunK Champion / Season MVP / All Star MVP / two time Finals MVP and 5 Championship Rings and the whole world knows that Kobe is the KING of Basketball and not the other player who’s self proclaimed “king” by the propaganda of media..
This is pretty accurate. I have only 5 jerseys and they are 1 2 3 4 and 5 on this list.
kobe is number 1 to my mind
Anthony over Durant? What’s wrong with you people???
KKKKKOOOOOOBBBBBBEEEEEEE!!!!!
I’m so happy that Wade and James are in the list. *_*
LEBRON WON THE TITTLE !!!!!!!! HE SHOULD ME NUMBA ONE KOBE NUMBA THERRE LIN NUMBA 2!
As an OSU and Cleveland fan, I would love to see Sullinger fall far enough for the Cavs to grab him with their second pick.
