Amar’e Stoudemire’s Totally Low-Key, Very Romantic Engagement

by Micah Hart

Amar’e Stoudemire recently got engaged, and was nice enough to have it filmed for posterity and to show you what a romantic badass he is:

Good luck following that, anyone whose special lady sees this video. Paris at night? Check. Live music? Check. A rock the size of a golf ball? Check. The only thing it really lacks is surprise, which was always a key element in my book, but I’m guessing she was able to get past that pretty quickly (although you never know — maybe every date night starts out this way in the Stoudemire household).

As they say in our shared tradition, Amar’e — Mazel Tov!
