Ben Schwartz Earns His Spot In Area 55

Recently we discussed Area 55, the personal cheering section for Pacers’ big man Roy Hibbert. The Pacers held auditions in person, but are also giving fans the chance to submit :30 videos for a chance at a spot in the crowd as well.

Ben Schwartz, who portrays the hilarious character Jean-Ralphio on NBC’s Parks and Recreation (on which Hibbert has guest-starred), decided to take a crack at an entry. Let’s just say I like his chances:

Fans have until 5 p.m. Friday to submit their tapes, so get on it if you haven’t already.

    Roy Hibbert is a great professional. I hope he can continue to get better and stay injury free. I wish dude the best, this is something athletes are not doing …
