I fully admit I am not a big gamer, and when the need to pick up the sticks hits me, I usually opt for Super Tecmo Bowl or Double Dribble. After watching this trailer for NBA2K13 … wow, I may need to make a purchase or two in the near future.
For those who get the latest game every year, SLAM did a nice little profile a few weeks back on some of the newest features in the mix for this go-round.

You can see it was developed for consoles, from a graphic point of view, this game is really not state of the art.

This looks like every 2k game since 2008. I don’t see what is so insane about the trailer at all. 2k is sooooo played out I don’t even know why people buy this anymore.

true dat. i mean yeah as a blazer fan, i’m super stoked for this game. and as someone who also likes to play with the lakers, this’ll be fun. but it’s the new controls and animations they’ve added that really spurred me into motion. not to mention dream team ’92 vs. team usa 2012. furthermore, how much more do people expect from this generation of consoles as far as graphics go. the graphic abilities pretty much peak when the new gen comes out. we’re on the verge of a whole set of new consoles coming out. it’s not laziness or the developers slacking, it’s the limitations of this set of technology.

Being a gamer who’s played nba2k12 for longest time this year… this game will rock..add to that if you pre-order you’ll get the sprite dunk,dribble and 3 pt contests for freee.. but i do hope they include reggie miller, brandon roy and T-mac in this years edition…
