Ever since bursting on the scene in 1986 as the director of She’s Gotta Have It, Spike Lee has made no secret of where his NBA allegiances lie: He is an unabashed fan of the New York Knicks. And as he’s become the team’s most recognizable fan, he can usually be found courtside at most home games, and even at many away games and NBA All-Star Weekends, usually wearing all sorts of clothes that scream his allegiance to the Knicks. Sometimes it’s a shirt, sometimes a hat, sometimes even the shoes, money. Either way, Spike always reps for his squad.
Take a look back here at some of Spike’s most memorable courtside looks, and don’t forget to join the convo on Twitter using #NBAStyle.
