Larry Sanders “Recieves” New Tattoo

ALL BALL NERVE CENTER — It’s the thought that counts, that much we know. So when Milwaukee big man Larry Sanders got some new tattoos over the weekend, we have to, at least, honor the spirit of the message. The execution? Well, maybe not so much.

Sanders posted photos on Instagram of his new ink. On one hand, he got the word “Ask”…

And on the other hand, he got the word “Recieve.”

The issue there is that he probably meant to get the word “Receive,” which is the correct spelling. (Remember, it’s “I before E except after C,” you guys.)

Sanders was quickly alerted to the spelling issue via commenters, and a bit later he posted this just how not bothered he was…

This actually puts Sanders in some good company: Just a few weeks back, Kevin Durant showed off his back tattoo with a misspelled word.

Looking on the bright side, with his new contact contract extension recently done, getting the ink fixed should be no problem.

You would think millionaires would make sure their artist at least knows how to spell. C’mon, it’s not like these are difficult words.

Well, what do you expect? There is no such thing as a “good” tattoo shop in Wisconsin. I can’t wait to leave this state. I did travel 3 hours to Milwaukee to get one done, though, since they have the best around, but they still are sub-par to a lot of the rest of the country.
