Rajon Rondo Holds Impromptu Twitter Q&A

ALL BALL NERVE CENTER — Twitter has been around so long that it’s almost an integrated part of the NBA experience. We watch games and read Twitter while we do it. We follow our favorite athletes on Twitter, and it’s great getting a peek behind the curtain of the NBA life. And it’s still neat when an athlete decides to take the access further and, all of a sudden, just start answering questions from their followers.

Last night, Celtics G Rajon Rondo did exactly that, addressing a wide range of topics, from his favorite players in the NBA to his favorite Mexican food…

College ball you play at schools with lower level players, in the NBA you get paid and play ball in arenas with higher level players.

laaaaaaaame! Q/A with an all star guard and the best people are coming up with is whats your favorite color of skittle? Nacho or taco? Oh my lord. who the heck cares?!?! Can you imagine steve smith or bob costas asking that. How about, what steps are the celtics taking to not be the worst team in the eastern conference? or How far away are you from being game ready? or, have you begun to build a relationship with your new coach in the off season? or Is there anyone you would like to see join the celtics this season? but no, carry on asking who his favorite kardashian is, Kim or chloe.

Rondo’s the best point guard in the NBA. Feel bad that they dismantled the team, but Rondo will still go out and do what he does, and that’s make things happen. KG and Pierce will be missed. But you keep doing what you do Rondo, your fans will still be cheering you on!!!!!!

Rondo is a punk, but in a good way. He plays with a chip and is always on the edge. The NBA needs that. I want to see more players like that. It will be interesting to see him play without KG and Paul Pierce.
