Jimmer Fredette Plays Driveway Pick-Up Ball

ALL BALL NERVE CENTERJimmer Fredette was an incredible offensive player in college at BYU — his senior season he led the nation in scoring and was named national player of the year. But there were real questions as to how his college scoring would translate into NBA playing time. After the Bucks drafted him 10th overall, the Kings traded for him, and thus far in his NBA career, his playing time has been sporadic at best.

But that hasn’t dulled his popularity. And according to this report from News 10 in Sacramento, when some local kids realized Jimmer lived down the street, they knocked on his door and asked him to come out and play. And what do you know, he did just that.

  5. vinsanefan says:

    Come back to UT Jimmer!

  6. Nate says:

If the Kings had any sense they’d have this guy on the floor at least 20 minutes a game. Went to the Kings Clippers game a few weeks ago and watched the Kings lose while Jimmer sat on the bench- it was craziness. ESPN had an article this summer showing that Jimmer’s stats per minute last year were equivalent to Ray Allen’s. Let this guy get into a rhythm in the NBA and he’ll be the next Steve Kerr.

  7. Jintan says:

That seems super funny, like “Jimmer, would you like to play basketball?” Kids ❤
