While the eyes of the basketball world rested upon the show LeBron James gave Monday, there were some young bucks strutting their stuff in the Midwest. I’m about the plays, so forgive me for diverting your attention from James’ best game as a Heat (statistically) to talk about a Jazz-Bucks contest.
But I’m guessing if you’re a fan of people doing amazing things, you’ll be OK.
Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jeremy Evans bring tremendous wingspans and strides that don’t look natural on a human, and last night, they didn’t hesitate to show it.
Giannis took the lead.

Not to be outdone, Evans followed up a couple of game minutes later.

Factor in Ersan Ilyasova’s out-of-nowhere 31 points on 13-for-14 shooting (only miss came on a putback, go figure), Milwaukee shooting 57 percent and registering a blowout win, and one could make the case that this game was as eye-raising as That Guy’s masterpiece in Miami. Well, almost as eye-raising.
