Lost sole latest of Wroten’s woes

Well, it seems that Philly point Tony Wroten Jr. can’t get enough of the misadventures. His latest peccadillo? Like Manu Ginobili, his shoe can’t seem to stay together on a drive. Like Manu, his shoe was also made by Nike.

Leave it to Sixers’ broadcaster Marc Zumoff to cap the unusual moment with a zinger: “Are you saying that Tony Wroten has no sole?”

I’m starting to feel bad for Wroten… He’s starting to become the new Brandon Knight, good player, just unlucky. Remember the two missed dunks?

Well I gave up on Nikes last year, the Manu and Tony incidents just show me that the complete and absurd lack of quality wasn’t my imagination and they are really expensive too which is funny considering the child slave workers are making them…
