Washington Wizards troll ESPN on Twitter

By Lang Whitaker, NBA.com

ALL BALL NERVE CENTER — Before the playoffs started, I was assigned to write a preview of the Bulls/Wizards series for NBA.com. Once the series was set, I stayed up all night looking at stats and game histories and writing this look at the series. As you can see at the end, I chose the Bulls to win the series in 6 games.

That did not happen. Last night the Washington Wizards beat the Chicago Bulls in Game 5 of the series to advance, 4-1. However, it turns out that I was not the only person who was wrong in choosing the Bulls to win the series. As the Wizards pointed out on Twitter last night, almost everyone at ESPN picked against them. Bet that won’t happen in the next round…

  1. Jed says:

    Wallace knows what’s up.

  2. RJ says:

I was leaning Wizards in a full 7.

  3. Al says:

Every analyst went with the Clippers in 5/6/7 games in the Clippers-Warriors series.
I hope the Warriors will be able to do the same!

  4. That guy says:

I had picked the Wizards in 7 it was the obvious choice… ESPN might want to think about either specializing staff-wise or getting new staff.
