ALL BALL NERVE CENTER — If you want to be down with the King (James, that is), following LeBron on his various social media platforms has always been a pretty reliable way. Well, until the postseason, when LeBron traditionally goes dark.
That all changed this morning with the release of a new app from Samsung and LeBron, eponymously titled “LeBron.” The app, which is free and exclusive for Galaxy S and Note devices, gives fans glimpses inside LeBron’s life multiple times a day, even during the postseason. I played around with the app yesterday afternoon, and by the time I checked it out again later last night, there had been several updates.
There are four sections within the app: Athlete, NBA Playoffs, Style and Journey. Within these sections are photos (LeBron’s outfits for different games), videos (LeBron taking a pilates class), even LeBron Radio, which streams songs curated by James. The LeBron app also works with the NBA Game Time app, providing up to date stats and scores.
