Kevin Durant gets hometown MVP billboard

By Lang Whitaker,

ALL BALL NERVE CENTER — It’s barely been about 48 hours since we found out that Kevin Durant was the NBA’s new MVP. (And if you missed his memorable MVP acceptance speech, you can check it out here.)

Two days doesn’t seem like a lot of time, but it was time enough for Skullcandy, the headphone company that Durant has long endorsed, to put up a billboard congratulating KD in his hometown of Seat Pleasant, Maryland, just outside Washington, D.C. Pretty cool way to not only remember where you’re from, but where you’re going…

This is insane! Adam Silver is a biased to Kevin our “king” LeBron is more all around player than Durant and carried the team! We need Stern back is he is looking for the players performance. Adam Silver lives in Oklahoma that’s why he give the mvp to Kevin.

ummmm…you are a little delusional. Im a huge LBJ fan…and its absolutely obvious to me that Kevin was the deserving MVP this year. But im excited for LBJ’s season next year. Cause this is just going to motivate him.

    • lbj II says:

KD will never win a championship at OKC, they should trade him for future ‘hall of famer’ Norris Cole and Shane Battier and then KD and the ‘king’ LeBron can be joint mvps.

  2. kd says:

LeBron wont get ring if he cant win mvp, we will trade future hall of famer “reggie jackson” for the king.

  3. JM says:

Congrats, KD…. you deserved this award…. great season overall…
