Indiana Pacers now selling fishing t-shirts

ALL BALL NERVE CENTER — A few weeks ago, when the Indiana Pacers were mired in the depths of the malaise that has plagued them throughout the postseason, Paul George took to social media to remind fans that despite their struggles, they were still a team. George, Roy Hibbert and George Hill had spent an off day going fishing, and they posted a photo of their catch…

Not much of a catch, but it’s something. And bigger picture, it represented how the Pacers were sticking together despite their issues.

Fans in Indiana have caught on to the meme, and at yesterday’s Game 1 against the Heat (which the Pacers won handily), they actually sold a t-shirt of George, Hill and Hibbert going fishing…

It’s also available at the NBA store. Smart idea to call it “Reel It In” instead of “Gone Fishing.”

Don’t worry Pacers you’ll have all the time in the world for fishing after the Heat eliminates you :)

Selling fishing t-shirts will not get you a ring, and the pacers will lose in the first round to the Heat to our King

Who cares. The NBA has been very lame this year anyway. When NFL draft kills NBA Playoffs in ratings that should tell you something. NBA needs new legitimate stars. Don’t see any in the near future. We need another Lebron James to come from out of no where.

Gone fishing with TNT’s Charles, Kenny and E.J. seems more appropriate, imho!

focus, become more attentive: to beat the miami heat will require every system they can operate and put into place that reminds them of unity and togetherness. if the head coach and the organization are on the the page with the players then they can pull off their victories to become east coast champions.

The way they’re playing, the Pacers will have plenty of time for fishing real soon!!!
