Remember back in the 2006-07 season, when the Golden State Warriors squeaked into the playoffs as the No. 8 seed and took on the No. 1-seeded (and 67-win) Dallas Mavericks? It was perhaps the greatest first-round upset in NBA playoff history as the Warriors ousted the defending Western Confernce champion Mavs in six games.
In that series, Golden State built a 3-1 series edge thanks to a raucous home crowd at Oracle Arena.
