Michael Carter-Williams throws first pitch just a bit outside

ALL BALL NERVE CENTER — Earlier this week we saw Blazers guard Pat Connaughton throw a first pitch that was, by all accounts, a fastball down the middle. It was a bit outside, sure, but considering he hit 90 on the radar gun, it’s hard to argue with the results.

And then there’s Bucks guard Michael Carter-Williams, who had the honor of tossing the first pitch last night at a Milwaukee Brewers game. Now, I respect MCW for going up there and trying to throw it hard — he clearly puts some power behind this throw, for better, or mostly, worse. Of course, a pitch that drills a cameraman standing a few feet away from the plate isn’t ideal…


Luckily, Carter-Williams seems to have a good sense of humor about the whole thing…
