ALL BALL NERVE CENTER — The 2015-16 NBA season tips off tonight, with the defending champion Warriors beginning their title defense against the Pelicans (TNT, 10:30 p.m. ET). And while we don’t know for certain who will win the championship this season — it’s why we play the games!! — the people at 2K Sports tried to figure it out.

Last year they had the Warriors winning the NBA Finals over the Cavaliers in six games, which is exactly what happened.

Using the powerful engine that drives the popular NBA 2K16 video game, according to 2K the Warriors will repeat as NBA champs, besting the Cleveland Cavaliers in a 7 game series.

Other things the 2K season simulation predicted: Oklahoma City winning the West in the regular season; Chicago and Miami finishing second and third in the East; Kevin Durant winning MVP; Anthony Davis winning Defensive Player of the Year; D’Angelo Russell winning Rookie of the Year.

OKC is winning every year in 2k never in real😀

  2. Another reason not to play video games. The computer programs are every bit as delusional as the people that created them.

Not happenin’ bro. 2015 was a fluke.

I don’t believe in the simulation! there are many contending team in 2015-2016. As long as kyrie and love are healthy the simulation will surely fail
