Kristaps Porzingis can’t stop dunking on people

ALL BALL NERVE CENTER — When the New York Knicks drafted Kristaps Porzingis with the fourth pick in the 2015 draft, fans at the arena in Brooklyn booed loudly. But it didn’t take him long to turn those boos into cheers, as just two weeks into his rookie season, Porzingis has been the toast of New York, for his relentless approach to the game. He still has a lot to learn, but thus far he’s used his athleticism to excel, most notably when he attacks the boards for put-back slams. (He even hit a buzzer-beater last night that ended up not beating the buzzer.) But to keep fans happy, the Knicks released this supercut of Porzingis’s best follow-up slams…

And as our friends at SB Nation noted, perhaps Porzingis is the ultimate clean-up solution…

I immediately noticed the problem…with the exception of the last dunk, the first two dunks involved being defended by sucky foreigners.

This kidhas a lot to learn from Melo. But I hope melo not teach him to manage the end of games.

His slams notwithstanding , I became a Porzingas lover during the Spurs game, when he came down the left side in open court , and did what I saw as “an EARL the PEARL” spin move, that left the defender in his tracks and amounted to an easy layup.
Call him ” Kris the Pearl Porzingas” !
