Frank Kaminsky thinks Michael Jordan could beat him 1-on-1

VIDEO: Kaminsky vs MJ

ALL BALL NERVE CENTERFrank Kaminsky may only be an NBA rookie, but he clearly understands how to keep his bosses happy. In a recent appearance on the Dan Patrick Show, Kaminsky was asked how he would fare in a game of 1-on-1 against Hornets owner Michael Jordan, who is probably the greatest basketball player of all-time, but who is also 52 years old. And while Kaminsky would have a size and age advantage over Jordan, the competitive edge would probably, even now, still belong to Jordan. So who would win in a game of one-on-one?

Patrick: “You think you could take him one-on-one?”

Kaminsky: “No. I wouldn’t want to try.”

Patrick: “Oh! Of course you would!”

Kaminsky: “I don’t think I would.”

Patrick: “Like, you don’t want to beat one of your heroes, is that what you’re saying?”

Kaminsky: “No, I’m saying the opposite: I don’t want to lose.”

Patrick: “Oh, you could take Jordan! You better be able to beat Jordan.”

Kaminsky: “See, that’s what you would think.”

Patrick: “Now, he thinks he could beat you.”

Kaminsky: “Yeah, I think he could beat me, too, so…”

    Jordan wins.

To be a little more realistic, K’s speed is much slower than Jordan’s, even at this young stage in his career. Big and slow and stays behind the arc.

    I’m hating…

Jordan could probably still beat most of the bench players in the NBA.

    Mr Lang,

“Michael Jordan, who is probably the greatest basketball player of all-time” is wrong. Michael Jordan IS the GOAT, not probably, but definitely.
