ALL BALL NERVE CENTER — When the clock is running down at the end of a quarter, you might as well throw it up at the basket from wherever you are on the court and see if you can get lucky. Last night in Oklahoma City, Thunder big man Enes Kanter found himself with the ball in his hands and the clock ticking toward zero. As it turned out, he didn’t get his shot off in time, although it doesn’t really matter anyway, because his shot wasn’t even close to going in.
It’s hard to tell exactly from this video clip, but I believe his shot ended up in about the fifth row, on the far right aisle. And the best part might be how when Kanter returns to the huddle, everyone has a smile on their face, from Kevin Durant to Cameron Payne to even the coaches and staff.
