Kevin Seraphin is clearly not afraid of snakes

ALL BALL NERVE CENTER — There are a few important things to note before you view this content featuring Indiana Pacers center Kevin Seraphin.

1) Kevin Seraphin is listed at 6’10”. So he’s tall.
2) Seraphin is on the record as being an animal lover, particularly snakes.

So with those things in mind, check out this video Seraphin posted to Twitter featuring him laying in what is essentially a gigantic pile of what must be gigantic snakes at a place called Prehistoric Pets. While I appreciate Seraphin’s attempts to be an evangelist for the often-reviled snake, you’re on your own here, buddy.

LeBron James sings Happy Birthday to Kevin Love

ALL BALL NERVE CENTERLeBron James can do it all — score, defend, pass, rebound… name it, LeBron’s done it. Singing, though? Well, as LeBron displays in this Instagram video where he sings to a magazine cover of his teammate Kevin Love, let’s just say he might have some room for improvement…

Lopez Brothers right Star Wars wrong

ALL BALL NERVE CENTER — At the end of the original Star Wars film, our heroes (Luke Skywalker, Han Solo and Chewbacca) are presented with the esteemed Medal of Bravery from Princess Leia. Well, Han and Luke are presented with medals — Chewie isn’t actually given a medal, a move that angered many longtime Star Wars fans and has spawned countless memes.

Well, leave it to the NBA’s proudest nerds, Robin and Brook Lopez, to right this egregious wrong. This weekend at Disneyland, the Lopez brothers presented Chewie with his long-forsaken medal.

Seems like a proper time to repost this video, too…

ALL BALL NERVE CENTER — So we saw Drake drain a seated halfcourt shot a few days at the Atlanta Hawks practice court, while Drake was in Atlanta on his Summer Sixteen tour. Now the tour has moved on to Miami, and Drake apparently made a visit to the Miami Heat’s practice court, where he tried another seated halfcourt shot…but this time he called glass…

Steven Adams and Andre Roberson want it that way

ALL BALL NERVE CENTER — Several members of the Oklahoma City Thunder traveled to New Zealand to hang out with teammate Steven Adams, and while they were there, apparently a road trip went down. And you know what that means: listening to the radio and singing along at the top of your lungs, as Adams and Andre Roberson showed…

Carmelo Anthony is a fashion trendsetter

ALL BALL NERVE CENTERCarmelo Anthony is back in New York City from his gold medal-winning trip to Rio with USA Basketball. And when Melo and his wife took a late-night stroll to the corner store, he apparently decided to wear a hat featuring the Olympic rings, along with a robe embroidered with “Melo.” Melo’s logic seems sound: “Why would I get dressed up?”

ALL BALL NERVE CENTER — While in Rio for the Olympics, Jimmy Butler said he thought he would be a terrific NFL wide receiver. (As we saw, Kevin Durant disagreed.) But word apparently got back to Steelers receiver Antonio Brown, who used Photoshop to show Butler what an NFL future might look like…

Butler replied by putting Brown in the middle of some NBA action…

ALL BALL NERVE CENTER — When LeBron James and the Cavaliers won the NBA championship, they brought Cleveland fans their first championship in over fifty years. Fans thanked the team by coming out to their parade, and also in other, creative ways. We’ve seen corn mazes dedicated to NBA teams and players, and this farm in Ohio honored the Cavs’ title by building three corn mazes. Homegrown hero, indeed…
