ALL BALL NERVE CENTER — Like we always do at this time, let’s take a look at the best instances of people getting #POSTERIZED over the last week and, at the bottom of the post, you can place your vote for a winner. And don’t forget, if you see someone get posterized, tweet it with the hashtag #POSTERIZED so we don’t miss it!

I missed last week’s #POSTERIZED poll because I was traveling, working on a cool piece for NBA TV (coming soon!). Which means more dunks than usual this week!

Let’s get to the dunks. Special shoutout to the previous winner, Sacramento’s Rajon Rondo!

The Phoenix Suns try to spell Mirza Teletovic

ALL BALL NERVE CENTER — This is forward Mirza Teletovic‘s first season with the Phoenix Suns, but as you can see in the video below, he apparently hasn’t been around long enough for the majority of players on the team — we see you Brandon Knight! — to learn how to spell his name. My favorite attempt might be from Archie Goodwin Sonny Weems, who goes with “Televv” as the last name…

Let the little guys go

A lot of times, players blessed with height absorb the spotlight when it comes to throwing it down. Then there are times when we are completely wow’ed when a diminutive guy (in basketball terms, anyway) gets up and lets loose on the basket.

Enter Suns guard Archie Goodwin. (You mean there’s more than Eric Bledsoe, Goran Dragic and Isaiah Thomas in the Land of the Sun?)

Not to be outdone, Stephen Curry recently got in on the airborne fun and added a little bash to his splash with an open-court slam that I’m sure most of us figured was going to be a simple layup. Way to keep us guessing.

Phoenix Suns hold awesome post-practice dunk contest

ALL BALL NERVE CENTER — The Phoenix Suns have played an uptempo style of basketball the last few years, and one of the players who has perfectly fit their system has been Gerald Green. And while Green has developed into a nice all-around basketball player, his dunking ability has always drawn raves. Green has been in three NBA Slam Dunk contests, winning in 2007, and today after a Suns practice, he got into a dunk-off against Suns guard Archie Goodwin. Goodwin gave Green a run for his money, but Green seemed to show Goodwin who’s the boss…

Phoenix Suns Cover Jackson 5

ALL BALL NERVE CENTER — When you’re a rookie in the NBA, you have certain duties to perform. Buying donuts? Carrying luggage? Taking care of the veterans? These are all things NBA rookies are regularly charged with doing.

Covering “I Want You Back” by the Jackson 5? That’s something that isn’t required as regularly, but at the recent Phoenix Suns JumpBall charity fundraiser, a trio of Suns rookies (Alex Len, Dionte Christmas and Archie Goodwin) were charged with performing the Jackson 5 classic. Little pitchy?
