So what happened when Super Shaq met up with the man currently playing Superman on the big screen, including the upcoming “Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice”? DeAndre Jordan is Batman

black_grey

ALL BALL NERVE CENTERDeAndre Jordan is the Los Angeles Clippers’ likely all-defensive team center, a man who stops all opponents attempting to infiltrate his territory. Perhaps DJ takes some of his principles from one of our great, if not greatest, superheroes, Batman. Jordan says he’s a big, big Batman fan, and on a recent day off, Jordan went to Warner Bros. studios in Hollywood and got a chance to see some historic Batman memorabilia, as well as stuff from the upcoming Batman v Superman movie. Here’s a gallery of images from the Clippers, and be sure to check the video below…

Bat delays start of D-League game

ALL BALL NERVE CENTER — We’ve seen basketball games delayed for all sorts of reasons — even last night in Houston, where a crooked rim slowed things down.

But, strangely, there have been several games delayed by bats. The Spurs have actually had two games delayed by bats. (Manu Ginobili had to get a rabies shot, too.)

Well, the bats are back, and they can’t seem to leave the Spurs alone. Last night in the D-League, at a game between the Ft. Wayne Mad Ants and the Austin Spurs, the tip-off was interrupted when a bat decided he wanted to participate, too. The video of the incident really has everything you can ask for from an internet video — people running from the bat, a cameraman knocked over, a dude who shows up with a net, even a daring escape from the captured bat. What do bats have against the Spurs? I guess we’ll never know…

Steve Nash Posits An Alternate Origin Story For Batman

by Micah Hart

I know everyone is all abuzz about Steve Nash‘s move from Phoenix to Los Angeles to join the Lakers, with most of the attention being focused on the impact it will have on the basketball court. Me? All I can think about it the opportunities it will provide for him off the court, where Nash has developed quite a little taste for making viral videos.

Here is his latest offering, a retelling of the Batman mythology (complete with over-the-top, Christian Bale-era voice huskiness), starring, directed, and written by Nash:

Nash found the time to make several hilarious shorts while in Phoenix, where the closest thing to a local celebrity is The Gorilla. Imagine what he can pull off now that he’ll be playing in Tinseltown?

Watch your back, Blake Griffin. Funny or Die may have a new NBA sheriff in town.
