Stephen Curry and his wife lip sync with Michelle Obama

ALL BALL NERVE CENTER — Stephen Curry and his wife, Ayesha, have shown previously that they aren’t afraid to post videos of them singing (or lip-syncing) with no abandon. But when the Warriors visited the White House recently, the Currys met up with the First Lady, Michelle Obama, and made some social media magic, as they lip-synced a song from the Minions

John Wall and teammates take Michelle Obama’s #GimmeFive challenge

ALL BALL NERVE CENTER — For the fifth anniversary of her “Let’s Move!” campaign, first lady Michelle Obama introduced a resolution called #GimmeFive, asking people to post videos giving five ways to be healthier. There have been a few celebrities who have taken the challenge, mostly from the world of entertainment, like Beyonce and Kelly Ripa.

But now the challenge has drifted over a few blocks from the White House to the Verizon Center, home of the Washington Wizards. First up, John Wall, Garrett Temple and the Wizards dance team took the #GimmeFive challenge…

Then, Wall passed it on to Kevin Seraphin, who brought his own version of style to the proceedings…

Michelle Obama And LeBron James Posterize Dwyane Wade

ALL BALL NERVE CENTER — When the Miami Heat visited the White House last week, they apparently managed to squeeze in some time to film a video for the White House’s Let’s Move campaign, along with First Lady Michelle Obama. Whoever put this thing together obviously did their homework, because they managed to hit a couple of memes — not only do we see Chris Bosh delivering a signature photobomb, but the First Lady teams up with LeBron James to posterize Dwyane Wade as he’s giving an interview to Erik Spoelstra. Even with all that, my favorite moment of the video might be at the very end, when everyone is sitting around just eating apples.

Iman Shumpert To Appear On Michelle Obama’s Album

ALL BALL NERVE CENTER — Traditionally, wives of U.S. Presidents have taken causes they care deeply about and used their platform to promote these them, raising awareness and funding. First Lady Michelle Obama has been passionate about childhood obesity, starting a foundation called Let’s Move! which has stated goals including, “putting children on the path to a healthy future during their earliest months and years. Giving parents helpful information and fostering environments that support healthy choices. Providing healthier foods in our schools. Ensuring that every family has access to healthy, affordable food. And, helping children become more physically active.”

One of Let’s Move!’s next projects will be a hip-hop album targeted at kids to help raise awareness around healthy eating. According to Rolling Out, some of the tracks have titles like “Veggie Luv,” “Mother May I?” and “We Like Vegetables,” and the album features personalities like DMC and Doug E. Fresh.

There is also a notable NBA connection: Knicks guard Iman Shumpert, a noted rapper himself, will perform a song called “Pass The Rock.” Good on Iman.

No One Is Above The Kiss Cam, Not Even President Obama

by Micah Hart

The President of the United States is often referred to as the leader of the free world. The most powerful man on the planet. But even he, with the fate of the universe in the palm of his hands, is unable to resist when the Kiss Cam comes calling.

At Monday night’s exhibition game between Team USA and Brazil at the Verizon Center, President Obama and the First Lady were featured on the Jumbotron during everyone’s favorite timeout activity:

Michelle Obama wasn’t having it at first, but give the First Basketball Fan credit for being persistent.

UPDATE: Here is a view from the stands courtesy of Truth About It that shows the First Lady giving the First Rejection during Kiss Cam at first before the President finally wins her over.
