The Milwaukee Bucks draw each other

Screen Shot 2015-09-30 at 10.35.25 AMScreen Shot 2015-09-30 at 10.35.36 AM

ALL BALL NERVE CENTER — With the Milwaukee Bucks all gathered for media day, the Bucks had their players take the time to see how well they really knew each other by asking them to draw pictures of each other. For instance, above left is a picture of Giannis Antetokounmpo, drawn by his teammate Tyler Ennis. To the right is an actual photo of Giannis. I am no art critic, but…well, you can judge for yourself.

There are plenty more pictures here.

Michael Carter-Williams throws first pitch just a bit outside

ALL BALL NERVE CENTER — Earlier this week we saw Blazers guard Pat Connaughton throw a first pitch that was, by all accounts, a fastball down the middle. It was a bit outside, sure, but considering he hit 90 on the radar gun, it’s hard to argue with the results.

And then there’s Bucks guard Michael Carter-Williams, who had the honor of tossing the first pitch last night at a Milwaukee Brewers game. Now, I respect MCW for going up there and trying to throw it hard — he clearly puts some power behind this throw, for better, or mostly, worse. Of course, a pitch that drills a cameraman standing a few feet away from the plate isn’t ideal…

Luckily, Carter-Williams seems to have a good sense of humor about the whole thing…

Giannis shows off dance moves

ALL BALL NERVE CENTER — Milwaukee’s Giannis Antetokounmpo is playing with the Greek National Team this summer. And while his on-court development has been watched closely, in this video from his Greek teammate Nick Calathes, we see how Giannis has been working on his off-court skills, as well…

Jabari Parker looks pretty good

ALL BALL NERVE CENTER — One of the most disappointing injuries last season was when promising Milwaukee rookie Jabari Parker suffered a season-ending injury in December. While we were deprived of seeing Parker for most of last season, in this Vine posted by the Bucks, Parker looks like he’s well on the way to a full recovery…

Rashad Vaughn eats his way through the Wisconsin State Fair

ALL BALL NERVE CENTER — Yesterday we saw what happened when Bucks players Jabari Parker and Chris Copeland went to the Wisconsin State Fair. Today we follow Bucks rookie Rashad Vaughn, who tries some of the culinary highlights that are available. I am an adventurous eater, but some of the things he eats here are beyond things I’ve ever imagined. The “wis-cone-sin,” for instance, is apparently made of a “bakery soft pretzel cone, filled with German rotkohl (red cabbage dish), hand breaded chicken schnitzel, a homemade potato pancake wedge topped with crispy cinnamon apple straws and a drizzle of Oktoberfest beer reduction.”

And we haven’t even gotten to the pizza with a crust made from bacon.

The Milwaukee Bucks visit the State Fair

ALL BALL NERVE CENTER — The Wisconsin State Fair just came to an end — yet they’re already counting down until the 2016 State Fair on their website. But before the Wisconsin State Fair was over, a couple of members of the Milwaukee Bucks paid a visit. In the first video, Jabari Parker plays game show host and quizzes a bunch of fans about which Bucks player wrote various tweets. And then in the second video, new Bucks forward Chris Copeland works the counter at the milk house (and an employee throws some shade at Parker along the way).

Raptors unveil new unis for 2015-16

By Jeff Case

A day before the 2015 Draft, our main man, Lang Whitaker, wrote a post detailing the new uniforms the Atlanta Hawks, Philadelphia 76ers, Milwaukee Bucks, Los Angeles Clippers and (kinda/sorta) Charlotte Hornets will sport in 2015-16.

And just when we we thought we were all done with uniform posts, the Toronto Raptors go and pull us back in again.

The team initially debuted news and photos of the new uniforms in a post on their web site and per the news release, team ambassador Drake unveiled the unis at  OVOFest in Toronto:

Raptors Global Ambassador Drake unveiled a Cory Joseph alternate black jersey with gold and white trim during his OVOFest concert tonight at Toronto’s Molson Canadian Amphitheatre. Joseph, a native of the Toronto area who joined the club as a free agent in July, will wear number six to honour his Toronto roots

Anyway, here’s a look at all the uni options in their full glory …

As well as a photo of Drake unveiling them on stage …

And, as a refresher, here are the looks the Hawks, 76ers, Bucks, Clippers and Hornets revealed this summer …

Ray Allen got an awesome birthday cake

ALL BALL NERVE CENTER — NBA great Ray Allen is turning 40 this weekend, so of course he’s having a party and a cake and everything goes along with a birthday celebration. But he’s not just having any old cake, as we see in the Instagram photo below, but instead a cake that incorporates every team he’s played for and uniform he’s worn…
