ALL BALL NERVE CENTER — We’ve seen the Sacramento Kings embrace the ugly holiday sweater trend. And now that trend seems to have worked it’s way East, at least as far as Chicago.

Last night during the Bulls game against the Nets, injured forward Mike Dunleavy broke out his finest ugly holiday sweater. A few weeks back he wore a leisure suit on the bench. Last night? Dunleavy went with the light-up sweater vest. Happy holidays!

We’re just about to mid-November, which means Thanksgiving is not far away in the United States and, after that, the Christmas and Winter holiday season will be upon us. For many, that means gift buying, hanging up decorations around the house, braving the shopping malls (more than you’d like to) and holiday parties.

The ugly holiday sweater party has been on the rise the last few years wherein folks dig up (or go purchase) some horrible-looking sweater from their youth. The goal? That your sweater is uglier than everyone else’s and you take home bragging rights.
